When I realized how close Bergen HD was to my new home (NJ), I just had to go over there and check out their deals. Low & behold they beat the NRHD price with their 11% off MSRP sale & no fluff charges.

NRHD was ready willing and able to beat Bergen's deal, but I chose to stay close to home and deal with Bergen.
Congrats on the new bike. Can't go wrong with either dealership, although I use Bergen most of the time. You can't beat their MVP program.

I would tend to agree but if the economy sinks more then who's gonna be buying new bikes
let alone used. I got $1000 off MSRP and with tax and dmv I still came in under MSRP. I think the days of waiting lists and premium pricing are over.

a couple of dealers within 50 miles of me ran some great deals in the last week, they are over now but here is a quick review, one dealer paid sales tax on 2009 bikes, store wide sale 30% off instock motorcloths and parts, 20% off special orders, 10% off gift cards, another had a 2 day sale 35% off all motorcloths and collectibles in stock, another dealer was 25%-40% off holiday collection, and motorcloths, and other dealers stick to the msrp on everything. this is no longer the 1990's when dealers could get more then msrp for the bikes

dude, has anyone ever called you a dick? no? well let me be the first. you're a dick!

instead of being an a** if someone is wrong, why don't you just say 'you're wrong, and here's why...'

I would like to confirm that this email is correct. I was talking to these huy's a couple of days ago and they are selling at 11% off.

This is the breahdown of the price I got on a black SG
18,999MSRP
345 Freight
270 Cruise
375 security
410 dealer fee/ set up
=
20,399 total * 11% off= 18,155.11

18,155.11+ 1089.30(my local tax)+ $125 (dmv charge)= $193679.41OTD

Not only that they were also the first Harley dealer that actually would fax me a quote in writing not just phone chit chat.

Although I think it is a good price I may end up wanting that $410 dealer fee to disappear

I don't know about you but 193K + OTD for a bike seems a bit over the top.
