We get Sirius radio on Dish Network, and to be honest, I don't see enough value to subscribe when for $20 I can buy a 2 gig mp3 player, load up my entire library of music that I love, and plug it into the AUX port on the Harley. Absolutely no interruptions, no DJ, and I only hear music I like.

Satellite radio isn't limited to just what we listen to. Sirius/XM also provides NEXRAD weather depiction to aircraft in flight, and air to ground communications. That is where they will be solid, but not in radio. They will likely expand that kind of service in the future, but whether it will be enough to keep them in business is in question.
