A several weeks ago I posted some lines about a tranny problem I had with my 09 RK Classic. Though my symptoms were a little nebulous and I used the wrong model for my bike (I erroneously called it a deluxe!), I failed to follow up here with what Salt Lake Harley Davidson did to correct the problem: They replaced the clutch on its dime.

So, thanks to you folks for your many suggestions (and patience) with a new guy...and thanks to Salt Lake Harley Davidson and its fabulous shop manager...

Being a former 07 RKC owner I am glad to hear it was the clutch and not the tranny, my 09 tranny sounds the same as the 07 and all is fine after going Mobil 1. Glad it worked out for you, what was teh issue with the clutch?

 

It appeared that the clutch adjustment made during a prior visit (to another dealer) was out... Thanks for asking...
