For those of you guys who can use the PX, I got a 550 thru AAFES last year for a good price during a sale. Don't remember how much but at the time it was at or below any other good deal out there.

Default Garmin Zumo 550

Just installed the Garmin Zumo 550 which I located on Amazon.com for $675. By the time I added the XM antenna, I was still better off than the HD version. And the Garmin unit comes with RAM mounts for both bike and car.

Did add a special harness kit from cyclegadgets.com that allowed to hook the unit to the bikes power and also plug into the AUX port so I can manage the music through the Ultra's audio controls

So cool....used it during 400 miles of riding Monday and Tuesday

Picture of installation attached

I have the HD Conquest. It's basically the same unit as the Garmin Quest II, but with more memory. If it wasn't for that extra memory I would gone with the Garmin Quest II. The reason?? The updates. The HD unit needs a special update...and there was a two year period from one update to the other. I don't know if the HD Zumo is much different from the Garmin unit or if it needs a special update or not. However, if I were looking at which of the two units to buy I would definitely check out the update issue first.

I don't know if this is the startup screen that HD includes on their branded unit but it is petty cool.
