I have them. They can be a little tough to install. They have to be folded and then placed inside the compartment, then opened up. They do keep the noise to a minimum if you place items like keys, glasses or cd's in your lowers. I also installed the detatchable fairing lower kit (58146-07) so I never have to remove them. I just made a couple of holes in the liners for the thumb nuts so I can remove the lowers without removing the liners.

I have them installed and I have the http://www.hogtrough.com/prod_unltraclassic.htm lockable doors. Stuff does not rattle around and get beat to death with the liners and the doors make another secure place to put stuff. A little pain to install due to opening size and getting around the crash bar inside.

I like them. IMO the compartments seem unfinished without them. They do cut down on noise and cushion the stuff rattling around in them.

Thanks guys. I found myself putting a microfiber cloth in the bottom last year to keep things from banging around. I thought I would put these in this year.

I love mine Ratkiller...should have been on the bike as standard equipment. Reduces a lot of the noise and keeps your stuff from getting beat to hell!

Ride safe...

Just ordered a set of the Hog Trough doors.
A lot cheaper than those offered by Harley.
And there is a place to hold a drink...

I have them and like them. As others have said, it gives the box a finished look, and I never hear stuff rattling around with the liners in there. It is a bit of a PITA to install, just follow the directions exactly as written and they will go in.
