Really? Did HD do away with the rubber mount? No they didn't. The engine/swingarm/ trans assembly still moves within the rubber mounting the same as the older frames. There is a slight difference in that hd added a front engine mount but other wise the rubber mounted assembly still moves. The brace limits the side to side movement and does not interfere with the up and down movement. This applies to ALL years of touring frames. 09 and up swingarm/trans/engine assembly still moves back and forth inside the rubber isolators.
