Default 08 Road King

Many of you have already responded to my post about Heritage vs. Road King. Thanks for the advice. I am going to be riding an RK on Friday. My sales woman was talking with me about buying an 08 RK over an 09. They will give me a better price, but not a "killer dealer" about 1k below the 09. I have read about all the changes in the 09, and wanted to know is the 09 worth the extra grand? My guess is yes, but wanted to ask the folks who know. Thanks again for the help already.

Try to get the same deal on a 09, hit them when they are hurting.

She's trying to shift old stock, and you'll lose far more than 1K in resale value. Go for the '09, you won't regret it.

There'd have to be a $2500-$3000 price difference for me to go for the '08
(I've owned both)

Very pleased with my '09 RK and really like the improvement in the 6th gear. Very solid feel to the ride at all speeds.
