Default where do I access the acc. switch

Does anyone know where I access the acc switch? I want to hook up driving lights to it. i have a 2008 FLHTC, do I tap right into the switch or are there wires that come off it that I tap into. If so are they behind The fairing, under the seat, or right at the switch. It looks like it would be hard to get to the switch without taking everything apart.

under the seat in front of the battery. it is a small gray plug on my 08 flhtc. just hooked up fog lights to the switch. it is a bear to get to as everything is crowded in there..take the seat off and start fishing around under the tank where the seat and battery meet, you should find it. I bought the accessory adaptor plug from my local dealership and used that to plug directly into the harness, then spliced into the adaptor plug rather than cut into the original factory harness. its not difficult to find, just a little aggravating as everything is tight in there. good luck.

Thanks for the fast answer I will look for it. Do most dealers sell the plug to plug into it. That sounds like the way to do it.

the dealer here in Lakeland Florida carries it stock..i think most dealers do..it was like 17.00 hated to cut it but definately don't wanna splice into the bike's harness...good luck with it..ez mod and very useful..just be careful..i turn my bike to accessory when cleaning it to listen to the radio..almost ran the battery down before I realized those fog lights were lit...
