Haven't had it yet, only 240 miles as of today (hit 50 degrees and I put 90 miles on) but it was part of the purchase agreement that the 1000 mile service is free.

$200 to much. I feel they did a really poor job. I bought a service manual and will do my own service from now on. What I don't feel comfortable with I'll find a good indy to do it.

Did it myself, self assurance and peace of mind that it's done right. Buy a service manual and save yourself big bucks. Nothing better than taking your time and getting to know your bike.

Last I looked, I think the routine service cost about $250 in my neck of the woods.

About $230. It was $230 too much. I changed my oil today and my oil filter wouldn’t come off. It took me about 30 minutes of trying every trick I could think of to get the filter off. The idiot at the dealer obviously over tightened it or didn’t put oil on the rubber seal on the filter. Regardless, I’ll be doing my own maintenance from now on.
