Touring Pullback Handlebars on EG??
The more I ride my new Ultra EG, the more I find myself leaning back on the backreast with my fingers barly hanging onto the bars. I'm not short (5'10"). Anyone tried the HD Touring Pullback Handlebars?? Seams like they would be just right.
And if I did change bars, is this a dealer deal or how hard is it to change myself?? And did you need all new cables/brake lines??

Dagwood,
According to the HD catalog, you will have to change throttle, clutch, and brake lines to do the pullback bars. I had a set on my Roadking, and they were great.
So far on my EG Classic, the factory bars seem okay. I will know for sure after I get back from a 2,000 mile trip to Laughlin.
Before you change bars, you might try lowering the factory bars a little bit. My EG bars were too high from the factory, and caused my shoulders and wrists to hurt. After lowering them, they feel comfortable. If you do this, make sure that your throttle cables don't touch the tank when you make a hard right turn of the bars.
Regards,
Bill
