Default Satellite radio inside fairing

Have read it works inside fairing . Have you tried it and does it really work ? Yes I got one for XMASS .

Yes, it's the best place to put it. Get the little $5 bracket from hd that the antenna sits on. It's whats it's made for.

If you are talking about the XM radio antenna? It has a magnet, just mount it on top of the radio, a little silicone (just in case vibrations). The best thing out of sight out of mind, if you know what I mean. Mine has been there for a year with no degradation.

I've found that it is hit or miss. My Dad's reception was poor so we moved it onto a bracket on the handlebars. I mounted mine on the bars as well.

I have my antenna mounted on the left side of the handlebar , mounted outside my reception is hit or miss , can't imagine it working at all inside the fairing!

Mounted antenna on top of the radio under the fairing. Works great here in Texas, had a little trouble in New England when riding up there

i also use the Sirius magnetic antenna on top of my radio, under the fairing on my UC. Have had no problems receiving the signal throughout the west and northwest, and even parts of canada.
