Damn Condensation
#61
Sounds like one of two things (or both) need to be eliminated : moist air, and cold bike.
I had a 40W bulb under mine with a bed sheet cover which worked well except in the worst of conditions (sudden weather change from very cold to very warm and wet). It only got a slight haze of condensation then, which was easily dissipated by removing the cover, but nothing like it got with no light bulb.
I've upped the bulb to 100W, should keep the bike warmer. Not much more I can do about the damp air. Garage is wood-floored and well ventilated. I keep the slush from the cars shoveled out and run a kerosene heater when I'm out there working on something. It's pretty dry most of the time.
