Default Cam Installation Question???

I was thinking about have one of the local shops here in Boise do the install on a set of cams in my 07 RK, the problem I have is they all quoting 3-4 hrs more labor than the job is suppose to take, I guess I'm suppose to pay for smoke, pee and lunch breaks while they are doing it.
This looks like a very start forward job and the only part I don't understand is the turning the back tire while you are tightening something to do with the oil pump.
No one has ever explained this procedure. Could anyone explain how to do this part of the install? I know it's very important so everything seals up properly.
Any extra inside hands on information would be appreciated.
I do have a Harley service manual and a parts manual also.
Can anyone also tell me which specialty tools are needed?
I know there is a lock for removing the drive gears and alignment pins you use on the oil pump.
I will not be ripped off by the local indys just because they obviously don't know what they are doing. The few extra tools cost way less than the $500 they want to do the job.

Cam swap only should be 4 hours if I remember correctly. What are they saying?

You will need inner cam bearing puller, installer, and cam and crank sproket lock up tool. I have a Jims tools. Very easy. On the 96 inch you have to do a couple of roatations of the pump. Sounds harder than what it is. Took my personally 6 hours because I took my time and had a bum knee at the time. Adjusting the pushrod is the most critical part. for setup, Along with alingin the dots on the cam. Hope that helps.

Call the BBB for what? They gave a quote. If you don't like it, feel free to go somewhere else.

4 hours is about right for a cam swap, but that won't include any tuning.

I did get a quote today from the local Harley dealer, they told me 6 hrs, turns out they are charging the same price for a cam install on all years of bikes, I did however find out that the extra labor is for removing the gas tank and rocker covers.
They are doing it the hard way!! So I asked about the quick change push rods and the guy said that they can do it that way and the labor differance is about what the push rod kit costs. I asked them to give me a written estimate for the job, including the 15% discount they are advertising right now. I haven't seen it yet, I hope the guy knows what he is talking about because that makes it reasonable..
