Default Road Glide Windshield

Just wondering what you road glide owners recommend to address the turbulance w/ the stock windshield. I have tried the new Clock Werks (taller one) not happy w/ the results. I don't like the looks of a taller one. Any solutions?

same thing with me on my 09. stock w/s suxs. got a tall klockwerks and it sux even more. went with clearview +1 and happy. actually wish i would have gotten the +2 . wind protection is more important to me than looks in the long run. however, i did like the look of the klockwerks....ride safe

I'm running a clearview in the winter and on longer trips but I actually like the original shield in the summer. For me the hard lowers helped me more than anything else. Not cheap though.

+2 on the Clearview. I think mine is atleat a +1 more likely a +2. It was on the bike when I bought it so I do not know the size. I do know that I love the wind prorection it gives.

I put lowers on mine and it helped a lot. Notice I didn't say completely! I'm still looking for a way to clean up the turbulent air that is also appealing to the eye. I just can't decide on the right windshield that will look and perform good.

For me stock windscreen is aok. I guess it never bothered me. When it is cold it hits the top of my helmet. Klock in the summer like the slight breeze in the face. I'm 6'5", so it may be a bit diffrent. I had a buddy ride my bike to see the mods I did and he did not like the Klock he is around 6'0". Just my .03(inflation).

Hard lowers helped out on mine the most and when i put the 2" over clearview it's perfect when solo, but when the wife rides I found myself looking though the shield right at the top which I really found distracting so I got a clearview stock size with the recurve touch more wind but riding 2 up in the hills is much better now I'm thinking of trying that new CC bailey (misspelled that one) in the 15" size I tried the 12"flair loved the looks but was just to much wind noise gave good wind protection for it's size though! the CCB looks a lot like the flair but with 3 extra inches should be about perfect if the noise isn't to bad
