Default Stretched Hard Bags. Do They Scrape?

I am doing some homework in preparation for a stretched hard bag mod. I am curious if they will scrape in a turn before the floorboards?

I have seen 2" extensions out there but does anyone make a 2" stretch that's actually functional storage space?

Yes.
4" stretch will.
2" may not.

Where can I get skid plates and are they visible (if you're not laying on your back looking up?)

Does anyone make a 2" stretched bag?

Search my previous posts.
Arlen Ness builds some but I've only seen them available through Bagger Nation.

You can make your skid plates.

i have baddad 2" extensions and scrap the boards and jiffy stand regularly since my bike is lowered but never touch the bags, love the look, theres not that much more storage in the full bag anyway.

sometimes form becomes more important that function. and i also wonder how the bags handle the heat from the mufflers? i have no interest in tail draggin look, but am curious as to the heat issue with extended bags.
