Stebel air horn install
After seeing the Harley air horn and the price they wanted for it (and how ugly it was) I knew I could do better. I ordered the Nautilus Compact and was gonna just separate the compressor from the horn and put the horn under the side cover. But after I saw how really small it was I got another idea. I cut off the ears that held the compressor to the horn and slipped it in the OEM cow bell housing. Fits like a glove! Secured it with 2 tyraps, ran a hose up to the compressor that I stuck in the hollow just behind the tank under the seat and wired it all up. This thing is killer loud! No lag when you hit the horn button at all. We'll have to see how long it lasts.

RE: Stebel air horn install
I put an air horn on another bike I had, and it kicked ***. Wired directly from batter, with a fuse and it was great. I would honk it and people on the sidewalk would jump, not to mention the cage drivers. I don't think there is space under my seat for the compresor, and I won't put those harley ones on due to the price. But a horn is los angeles is a great tool, due to unban decay in general. I have realized that loud pipes doe the same thing for me, so I guess I don't ned another horn.
