at what point do you guys drag the rear brake?

You get the clutch in the friction zone and drag the rear brake at the same time. Applying them at the same time makes the bike want to stand up. The brake helps you control the bike.

I was thinking that was how he explained it, but watching him do the exercises, I didn't see the brake light come on as much as I was expecting

Glad to hear all the positive comments, my copy is on order as we speak. It should be here in a day or two. Between my brother, my two sons, and myself, we are going to have a bikers movie night the day it shows up.

The guy that does those instructional DVDs is an HDForums member. Seems like a great guy with great info we can all use, or at least improve upon.

Watch the look on your buddies faces when you whip that U turn like nobodies business, when they are all struggling to turn around.

That alone is worth it.

I've had the Ride Like a Pro II DVD for 4 years. It is great.

I wonder what V has over the II DVD version - anyone know?
