i put a stage one kit on my 08 road king from fuel moto, jackpot pipes, there airfilter, and the pciii ,the throttle side slip on muffler is black and the other slip on looks clean is this something i have to worry about jamie said the pc iii comes with a custom map just for this set up and i dont have to have the bike dynoed tested??? the air filter has a se backing plate... the bike seems to run fine but its cold here... do u guys think i should have it dynoed tuned anyways some say yes some say no what do u think....

I've heard that on the '08s the left muffler is used as a resonance chamber and most of the exhaust flows out the right. In short, yours sounds normal.

Our Jackpot mufflers use an asymmetrical baffle system which uses the right hand muffler as the primary muffler. With this design you will see more pronounced carbon on the right muffler as it flows far more than the left. You should also find our fuel map to work very, very well. If you need any additional assistance just let me know.

That is the problem with the slash up slip ons using the stock exhaust configuration. Others have painted the inside of each slip on tip with high heat black paint, then you should not notice it anymore.

thanks for the help guys those fuel moto guys are great... im gonna paint the insides black they look great on the bike.. bike sounds insane too..

Even my '03 RK with Stage 1 and Hooker mufflers the Left is tuned almost closed the right is the main exhaust.
