Default Anyway to divert wind away from knees?

07 S/G with lowers and fairing extentions. Seems the wind is "funneled" over the lowers directly onto my knees and thighs? Doesn't appear the the fork leg fairings (poor discription) will fit with lowers on. Ride 55 miles each way and am wondering if I've missed something. Thanks

With all the extra wind deflectors, it seems you should be pretty well tucked in there. My might consider some riding chaps to block more wind or long johns. I mean long johns on under your trousers.

Thumbs down

Thanks, got all that and more and had searched the archives, thought I'd missed something. Gets alittle nippy midnights running the beltway at speed.

Try a set of the adjustable wind deflectors that come with an Ultra. It drops the lower edge of the fairing down another couple of inches. Also great in the summer when you can send wind up to your chest area. P/N 57804-07

Fork air baffle H-D Part# 58520-79TC Made a big difference for me. I think it costs less than $30.

Does the fork baffle affect the cooling of the motor in the summer?

The baffle directs the air flow to the engine.

Here is what i put on my Ultra to stop such problems. Even with the lowers, they work really well.Anyway to divert wind away from knees?-12-08-8-.jpg The chrome deflectors on the forks.
