I wear my HD rain suit pants when it get really cold. They keep the body heat in and the wind out.

I know this isn't the solution you were probably looking for, but Langlitz Leathers (and others) make a leather lap apron. Old time solution.

Another vote for chrome deflectors. I have them and they work well. My lowest riding temp is 34 down in south texas.

Sell that bike and buy yourself a Road Glide with fairing lowers and you won't get any wind on your knees. Sorry I could help myself with that nerf toss question.
All the base have been covered with modifications you can do, and the only thing left would be heated riding gear.

I'd like to try the chrome wind deflectors but they don't work on a street glide unless you relocate your turn signals.
