Default 04-08 Road Glide. Making the switch to Metz

Being a fan of Metzelers on my Warrior, I am switching my tires on my 06 Road Glide over the Winter break. For those of you who have switched, have any of you placed a wider tire on the stock wheel. I am not quite ready to do the wheel upgrade and with Metzelers short lifespan, I think I'll get one more tour out of the next set of tires. I really would like to go a bit wider. Anybody?

Here's Metz rec:::
72H MT90B16 M/C TL ME 880 MARATHON Front - 36 PSI
77H MU85B16 M/C TL ME 880 MARATHON Rear - 38 PSI

Thanks,
Greg

i just put metzler on 08 road glide..so far i love it... i had metz on 04 wide glide and 01 sporty before....always loved the way they improved handling.. also have always been able to go up one size because of different sidewall than dunlops.

actually i usually get about same mileage as dunlop..i know they say softer..so less mileage... but i have always got real close to same!

i went from the MT90B16 to 150/80 going out riding now...put few more miles on!!

There's a 160 crammed under my 06. I think stock was a 150 or something. BTW, it also has an 18" in the rear.
