Also, saves space in the garage for more parts. Great product

Bought one, liked it till I put longer shocks on... for whatever reason I dropped the bike twice trying to put it on with the longer shocks... Got my Penske's back and they are of course, out of this world, took the longer shocks off and never got around to putting it back on. It does not take the place of a good jack if you are going to do real work. It does make it easier to pack the bag... I guess I'll put it back unless I decide to sell it, which I might... Mine is the chrome one... anyone interested make me an offer. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Makes sense, right?

It makes sense to me. The center stand costs more but it allows you to quickly move the bike should the need arise when you're working on it, unlike when you're using a jack. The bike's also more stable on the center stand than on a jack. The center stand is also very portable, you'll have it when you need it no matter where you are. And doesn't take up floor space in the garage like a jack does.

Great stand. I bought a shorter one and drop my Ultra on it using the air ride system I installed. I use mine everyday.

I have to concur with what has been said, the stand took longer to get out of the box then it did to put it on, it works real well and for many reasons. Thanks for making a simple great product.
