I just picked up one of these and have not really played with it yet. I installed it and took it for a putt around using the suggested settings. I did not really notice any difference; the excelleration seemed the same, not snappy or quicker. I was expecting something more drastic I guess. For those who do use one of these what are your settings and what difference did it make? I have 2001 RK with high flow AC and V& H duals. Also I know some will say I should have gone with such and such instead of the Cobra, but I picked it up pretty cheap and it's either this or nothing, I wont spend the money on the others. Thank for your in-put.

 

i am using the arlen ness hot shot with good results it took a few times to dial in

but i have more power and quicker throttle and it took away the back firing

I had one on my Sportster, replaced it with the PCIII, Night and Day...

I had one on a Kaw 1500 Nomad several years ago. I bought the bike used so I had to download a manual for the FI2000 so I could play around with the settings. I was unhappy with the gas mileage on the Kaw and set it to run leaner but the popping got worse and a little embarrassing so in the end I had to set it back richer. Other than that, I'm probably not much help.
