Just wondering…did you give her a ride back home?

It happens to all of us and always in front of a crowded Harley dealer.

So who were you watching when you didn't notice your wife approaching?
A detailed description and/or pics would be appreciated.

I have been riding motorcycles since I was 12 and except for my dirt bike I have never dropped a street bike....that is until last night!

Yes she got a ride home last night.

I wasn't watchin' anything as I was adjusting my riding gloves and just grabbed the bars in time to let'er down slowly.

The highway peg mount and bottom edge of the peg has very slight nicks but none noticeable. The only thing damaged was I had grabbed the passenger "oh s*** " handle and not the saddlebag guard when I hefted it up. I had to "un-tweak" it when I got home.

Glad you and the bike are OK and you are not in jail for the disapperance of your wife.
I have had a very stern talk with my wife when that almost happened to us. She now asks me everytime, "Are you ready"

Glad no one got hurt. Just pretend like it was your fault, you will be better off in the end.

Geezz! I'm feeling this today. I feel like I got kicked by a mule in the left butt cheek. I guess I pulled a glute when I was "attempting" to hold her up as she was listing to port. And my right knee is killing me from the lift. Just glad the bike feels no pain or humiliation or does it?
