Yea i have looked both places, Ebay is full of lowers for all the other touring bikes but Road Glide lowers are few and far between

 

There is another thread re: FLH lowers on a Glide. I did this because I wanted vented lowers (the factory Glide lowers aren't available vented), and I already had a set off my RK. The local dealer told me that several Glide owners he knew had purchasedFLH lowers off E Bay (i.e. more available) and performed the easy mod to make them fit.

In my case, I really didn't save any $$ (i.e. 20% off at Chicago Harley and already painted and selling the FLH used lowers versus painting the FLH lowers was about the same. The factory paint costs a fortune (my Glide is cobalt blue), like $200/quart. Black would be different I suppose.

The issue for me was the factory vents.
