After several SE builds and various combinations of cams and exhaust systems, some not so good mechanical quality builds, and going against the advice of those who know better, (ahemmm, see you Friday Phil), I am now expecting delivery of my HQ 107 Sport Touring kit this Wednesday or Thursday. The tear down will start Friday evening, the build Saturday with a TTS Master Tune dyno tune Sunday By this time next week I should be a happy camper! Thanks to those of you on the forum that I've traded PM's with and even talked with on the phone about your builds and experiences. Those PM's and phone chats have been most helpful. Thanks to Phil for helping coordinate the tune, doing the build, and keeping an eye on the parts list to make sure we have everything we need.

THIS is going to be a long week

 

Hey brother, good luck with the build. I'm very interested in how it goes. I'm on the fence between the HQ 103 or 107 and doing my reading to get more info.
I wish I was closer to Phil because I'm sure I would be reaching out as well but I'm in Canada and weather sucks now for a ride to texas or I'd be coming for a weekend. lol
Keep us up on the build and grab some shots.

you are going to love the 107 -- you may want to order a new back tire now--once you get use the rear breaking lose it gets addictive -- you know it's dangerous but you just got to do it.

Don't forget to take plenty of pics and post them--those build pictures and descriptions are my favorite threads and lots of others enjoy them also.

Just be sure to have plenty of Starbucks handy to keep PhilM going.

 

Good luck on your build Glider. I'm sure everything will go smooth with Phil over-seeing things. I'm starting my HQ 103ST build on Friday as well. Probably won't get it done until Sunday though. Got some stuff going on Saturday. I'll try not to bug Phil on his phone while he's doing your build. LOL
