Check out Sumax for Big A$$ bags. These custom bags are bigger than the leather ones and mount to standard HD mounts. At $850 (primered) they are not cheap. But I am saving my pennies....

I have leather bags. I love the leather look. But I agree with a post earlier and if you get a custom paint job, the hard bags look better.

Leather bags will hold more and WILL lock.

I think I'll kind my RK Classic, a Classic. That means no hard bags, no mag wheels and no black walls for me. I like the leather bags, spoked wheels and wide white walls.

The leather bags to my RKC are in my closet. I found a set of fiberglass hard bags on ebay that matched my paint. I think the hard bags give the bike a longer more slender look. The leather bags do hold more, but one of my lids was starting to get a slight warp andI thought the leather was apain to take care of.

 

I changed over to hard saddlebags and like the look, but also the fact thatthey lock is an advantage too..
