If it's just on Sportys it really doesn't help us here does it? Although I was thinking about a second bike if I could get one really cheap... maybe the market will be flooded?

I have a second bike and its a 07 Nightster, want a yna of some type now so this fits the bill. Also have a 3rd bike but its a KLR and that stays no matter what. thats my Mad Max bike, it go's right before my M1A, M4 and various oter survival tools.

dang i would have considered it if i could trade in my dyna for a street glide. Also did you see the fine print on that ad someone posted;;;;Tires, suspension, engine, and transmission must all be within factory specifications and the vehicle cannot reflect neglect or abuse

I would Trade in my 08 RG if that was the case. I asked my dealer and he said the best he could on my 08 RG w/ABS and 3800 miles was around $14000.....NOT

Sounds fair. Otherwise some people would show up with a beat up bike expecting top dollar.

Based on an e-mail exchange I had with the owner of the dealership where I'm trading mine, dealers are probably going to be very picky about which bikes they "qualify" for the promotion and which one's they don't. Harley is giving the dealers complete autonomy in deciding what they will take in on trade under this promotion. I'd say that unless your bike is in almost showroom condition (which mine is) most dealers aren't going to take it on trade under this program and give you full MSRP on it.

Just talk to sales manager at my local HD deal just came down and its only applies to trade up from sportser to touring..Promotion will run from 12/26 to sometime in febuary
