I went with the SE Touring mufflers and really like the sound, not too loud, but a bit deeper then stock. Enjoy.

I went to a local shop and dug through some old heat shields he had laying around and found some that would work and covered my pipes all the way to the slip ones.

I ran a Fullsac kit for a couple of years, using my original set of pipes. Liked the true duals so much I replaced them with Samson pipes and S&S oval mufflers. An expensive way of getting rid of that 'problem'! I actually fitted that heat shield the original way up. I found that certain riding gear got too close to the pipe when that foot was on the ground, because it was in a different location when the other way up.

Well thanks everyone. Their website states that remapping is not needed. I am running the CVO touring muffles with heat shields. I have ordered the Full sac 2" replacement baffles so It will sound very nice. I will try the true duals without the fuel management and then go with a set of XIED's in the near future. Maybe I will use my next income tax check and finish the stage 1 upgrade.

Thanks for all your replys.
