I just fill mine up every time I air my rear tire. I haven't been riding much lately as airing the tire is damned near impossible.

You all wouldn't have to stop so often if you would just fill up both sides of the tank. Thats why there are two fuel caps! Read the manual people...

Our new President-Elect theory is what I use....I stop every 40 to 50 miles and fill up (that spreads the wealth around)....If I see a sign that reads: LAST CHANCE FOR GAS NEXT 150 MILES. I throw that philosphy aside. I can't believe I responded to this thread. I've learned a lot.

He probably is running out of gas because he is driving around trying to find someone to show him how to put air in his tire.

I always bring an extra 5th of Jack full of gas on long trips. That way I can take a little nip off the bottle if I don't need to put it in the tank
