I bought the jacket, pants and gloves for me and my wife, then bought a pair of socks for her. I don't think I need them because I have some pretty good FXRG boots. I was told the socks were difficult to walk in, but cannot confirm. We've not done much riding yet, but I did do a couple fo 27 and 34 degree rides and it was pretty darn nice. The only problem was the darn helmet. I hate the sound of a full and the half was just a little to cool. Did put on some good face gear and it seemed to help.

i work in a warehouse and needed the heat here in MI. went w/the battery powered lith-ion rechargeable vest and extra battery from gerbing. Wow...what a vest! at full power the battery lasts just over 4hrs and can almost be too hot (usually run it at 1/2 power). I like the duel purpose (ride and work) w/no wires. total cost including shipping $161.00. Just thought I would pass this on...
