Default H4 PIAA XWP A/V Headlight

I know there are alot of posts out there on headlights, but .....

This PIAA Extreme White Plus Anti-Vibration headlight is 60/55W=110/100W. I can't find info saying how much actual power this thing pulls. If it's output is 110/100w wouldn't it pull more than the stock 55/60? What about heat in the housing? Can you modulate it? I'm not sure if I want this or HID. The main reason I'm considering this PIAA is because I can get matching bulbs for the passing lights, color wise. Thoughts? Thanks!

I think 60/55W=110/100W. means:

60 Watts electric power on high beam and 55 W electrical energy on low beam. I think the 110/100 W is the equivalent energy because this thing is very efficient. In other words it is as if yoiu had a 110/110 W bulb but this one consumes 60/55 W.

Now I you want to know the current it consumes here are the calulations:

Power = V*I so I=Power/V then I= 60 W/12 V= 5 A (at high beam which is worst case) and close to stock

So, what I'm hearing is that the PIAA gives out twice as much as a stock but only uses as much amperage as stock. Right? Can this bulb be modulated without trouble?

I've been running the PIAA for a month now. No melted wires so the draw must not be a problem. I was worried about that because it has happened to me before.
