The 09's with the cast wheels are even more difficult.

If I'm adjusting the pressure in the shocks, then I just remove the bag.

Not really something I want to deal with at a gas station. Not to mention I could just see SWAT showing up in 4 minutes because of my 'suspicious' behaivior!

Use a basketball needle, sharpen the tip, attach to compressor. Then poke the needle between the tread blocks and air to 38 lbs. The goop in the tire plugs the exit hole from the needle. Simple as pie. Seriously tho, how hard would it have been for engineers to design an angle on the valve stem out to the right like they do on the true spoke wheels on my kids 07 RKC??

First of all i never air tires up in public. i get on the floor, look for the stem, get back up, roll the bike back and forth, lay down again, grunt a little, etc...... you just can't do all that in public. At least, unless you're a plumber.

Maybe they are setup differently up there, but here in AZ the air chuck (which admittingly I had to look up, I never heard that terminology before) appears to be fused to the air line at the stations.

Of course, add to that, about 75% of the air lines at gas stations are out of service....
