I have been seeing threads telling of good these xeon and hid bulbs are my question is do they just plug into the back of the light assembly ? On my last bike a 07 ultra I thought I had taken a bulb out once and it was just a old fashion bulb you replaced as a unit ??

 

xenon replacements are just plug in, hid lights require a ballast.
