Default Need help choosing a bike

Torn between a 2003 Road King Classic 100th anniversary all stock with 2700 miles in mint condition and a 2005 Road King Custom with pipes, programmer, intake, and little upgrades with 8700 miles in mint condition. Both are the same price. Which is gonna be the better buy? Which is the better bike?

If the 2003 is the Silver and Black anniversery color combo then buy the 2003.
It's the best looking bike Harley has ever made

I had that bike with the silver and black color scheme, and I agree 100% with Texas Fat Boy - that was the prettiest paint scheme Harley ever put on a production model. The only problem you might run into is trying to add more 100th anniversary badges or bling - you'll have a tough time finding things on a 6 year old model.

I would go with the 03 Model, it sounds like the better deal, it has low miles on it and it may have been well taken care of and it sounds like it is still in New Shape!

.....and that's exactly the reason I went back to an `03 Ultra from an `06 Ultra that was a piece of junk. Bought my `03 in 4/06 from the original owner with 4K miles on the clock and completely stock (as I wanted to do the mods myself) and best decision I've made! BTW....couldn't agree more with the comments on the silver/black, still get lots of comments on it. Also, there is a guy on Ebay that sells all kinds of 100th bling, so no problems with finding stuff for it. Guess what I'm saying is......go with the `03!!

Ask yourself do you want softbags or hardbags. Both are good choices but of course the classic has fewer miles. Which ever you choose the bikes are pretty much the same.
