I'd go with the '03 King...the RK Custom IS a bad-azz bike though!

 

Personally I'd go with the '03 Road King Classic that's all stock. This way you have a clean slate to work from rather than inheriting someone else's platform that's already been altered. I'm always a bit leary of other people's tinkerings so don't really know what I'm getting with those performance mods.

It's your bike though so pick the one that "clicks" with you best.

 

If the 03 is stock it is a blank canvas. The color scheme is sweet, I would choose the anniversary model.

 

Thanks for all the input guys, I'm going with the 03. It's an awesome looking bike and it has the nolan helmet with built in microphone and the J&M Motorcycle intercom and CB radio system that looks brand new that I will be taking off to sell if anyone is interested.
