Cool Fatboy vs Street Glide

I too had an 03 Fatboy, but the all day rides were hard to do at 56 yrs old. Bought an upgraded 03 EGS and the ride is 100% better for rider and passenger. I still miss my Fatboy now and then, but I wouldn't go back. It's your call .

I had a fatboy that I toured with it from Florida to North carolina. I had removable bags and a small tour pack (after market) behind my solo seat. A road king style wind shield...I was happy as hell riding it.
If you WANT a street glide.....say so. But a fatboy can be a fine touring bike.
I sold the Fatboy and still miss it (Dr. says I will get over it eventually).

My vote's for the SG! You won't regret it & will forget all about the Fatboy QUICK! The SG was my 2nd choice.

Wow awsome Fat Boy can see your dilema. I wanted the SG so bad i traded my 07 Road King custom for an 06 SG, and almost a year later im still glad i did. Sounds like a win ,win, TOUGH decision

Sweet fatty, I too had a fatboy in the stable for a few years love the bike killer looks especially what you have done, but if you go to a touring bike and keep the fatty, it will more than likely sit in the garage and you will take it out for a ride only because you feel guilty it is sitting there, trust me I know it happened to me. The touring bikes are just so much more comfy, and once you go bags, you'll often wonder WTF did I do before bags.

I traded up to a Street Glide from my Fat Boy a couple of months ago and I'm loving it. The Fat Boy's a great machine but the Street Glide's better. It looks like you've got a tough decision to make, best of luck.

Think you'll get a biased opinion here, most likely as you did in the Softail forum. Your bike looks really nice, although to me, it doesnt look like it's very comfortable. Thats the main reason I'm going to switch from my Dyna to a SG, well, that and the bags, Baggersnuts is gettin sick of carryin my stuff around lol...
