I have always liked the black and cream. I think those are some really classic colors

With that, it's December and time to pull it apart for that winter project.

BRING ON THE OPINIONS!!!

2007 Road King Classic (adding hard bags.)
In my eyes pearl olive is the best Road King color out there. Like something straight out of WWII. Shame it wasn't offered in '09.

I like the post about getting another set of tins and having them painted.

When it comes time to sell your bike you may do better with the stock tins. Your tastes in paint might not be what a potential buyer is looking for and could cost you a sale.

When I have looked for a used bike to buy I always look for a nice original bike to buy.

Just thinking out loud here........

I think you should go with the main parts Satin Black, then do the trim in Satin Black, then make sure you add some Satin Black and then finish it off with a touch of Satin Black.

Then go out and get yourself some Black Pipes

Makes one Helluva sweet ride.

If you like the nostaligic, look at the '92 Heritage teal and creme setup. It was stunning. One of a kind. Much better than the new Road King. You can still get the colors. Check it out.
