$200 Paint Job! Help me paint my bike.
#14
You're probably thinking, "$200 paint job, are you crazy?" Long story short, it was won in a charity raffle at a rally a couple of months ago. The guy has painted some great scoots, planes, etc... I can go any two-tone color, but no flames or flake. I'm thinking a nice Black/pearl white combo, or red/white maybe? What say you, HD Forums. Yes, I know that it's my bike, but I'm at a loss. With that, it's December and time to pull it apart for that winter project.

I like the post about getting another set of tins and having them painted.
When it comes time to sell your bike you may do better with the stock tins. Your tastes in paint might not be what a potential buyer is looking for and could cost you a sale.
When I have looked for a used bike to buy I always look for a nice original bike to buy.
Just thinking out loud here........

If you like the nostaligic, look at the '92 Heritage teal and creme setup. It was stunning. One of a kind. Much better than the new Road King. You can still get the colors. Check it out.
