Default New shield for Street Glide

Anyone purchase and install the new windshield from Klock Werks on their bike? $170 is a lot of cash for a windshield, so want opinions on this before laying down the cash.

I considered getting one when I saw their both at the 105th. What it does (according to them) is change the wind stream from random to smooth and pushes the bike down for better handling. However, if you're tall, which I am, the smoothed out windstream hits you right in the face. Shorter riders don't have this problem.

There are several threads posted lately about windshields, for both a different look and better fuction. I'd look over those threads beform making your choice. There are a lot of OEMs out there and they each have something different to offer.

Well, I might be bias but since I work for Klock Werks I feel it my duty to pressure you into buying one Seriously though, they do work the way they say, I owned one for 6 months before I started working for them and have over 12,000 miles on it. Like one of the guys above says, it does redirect the wind so you don't feel all the turbulance. I'm 6'1" with long longs and a shorter torso and I get hit right at the hairline with the turbulant wind.

Being a young guy on a bagger I was originally going for looks, but this thing WORKS!!

Call Klock Werks 605-996-3700 and ask for Dustin.

My Bike.

I bought a new shield off eBay called the WING I believe. It does not have that turn up on the top but is wider at the bottom and blocks more wind off your passenger.

Actually I bought three and got all of them for what that one you have listed will cost. I got three differnt heights and tints. So far I love it and the added height has been good for the cooler weather. A buddy complimented it and I sold him the taller of the three for his Ultra.

Good luck

Ever bought something and then went with something else?
I did.
Get a clearview.
They may not look like your 17 years old, but they work.
