His number was 925-200-8556. Not sure if it still works. Heard he has a new product out that is even better. You might take a look at this website too. It was a huge hit at the SEMA car show in Las Vegas and has a lifetime warranty instead of a 5 year from 3M. Good luck!

sticker city is very good and fast service. i like the way they cover the lids of my saddle bags. very effective protection and nearly invisible.

So when you install one of these protection kits, can you still really see the shine on the finish thru the film? Do you polish and wax first, then install the film, or ???

I'm thinking it would be hard for the film to stick unless you stripped the wax, but then how do you get any shine?

Yep strip the wax, use ivory soap to wash bike. Best to look at stickercity.com web site. I did not like the end result. I will remove the the film from the lids and leave the front and side on.

I used the 3m and did not like the result. I took it off and it pulled the stripes with it. Not very happy at all.... Made the stripe (which I was trying to protect) look like decals

OK...that statement gave me chills - pulling the protective cover off pulled off your pin stripes?!? I'd have been on the phone with 3M raisin' hell for sure!
