The new torpedo heaters have a thermostat, so when you are ready to work on your trike, you go out, turn it on, go back in and have two cups of coffee. When you hear it kick off, you are ready to go to work.
Just a thought to consider.If you have an insulated ceiling in your garage and there is a shingled roof over it make sure you cut some vents in the roof so the hot air in the summertime has a place to escape.If not the shingles will start to curl .Just a thought
Man that headache is a sure sign of carbon monoxide, I've gassed myself a few times over the years being a mechanic. Propane heaters have a smell also but not like a kerosene heater. A good large propane heater will warm it up but with no insulation you will have to run it almost non stop and they are noisey. (sounds like a small jet engine running)
