Watch a DVD and ride. You got the best of both worlds. I'm assuming just for sitting out a Sturgis or Daytona, or Laconia, and watchin' American Thunder!

You can get radio kits a few places. http://www.hogtunes.com/

and a member on here firecap101 I think is his screen name.

Pioneer makes a good in dash slide out unit. I think it would be nice if the stock radios had a bluetooth option like the aftermarkets. Not that you could actually take the call while riding over the speakers just to announce you have an incoming call so you can pull over.

not to be rude guys but if he wants a dvd player then thats his preference. I think it would be sweet to have a flip out navigation (not the dvd part) but thats just me. I don't use my navi enough to want a flip out I'd rather stick to my tomtom for road trips. Man you guys are haters

Since I wired a headphone jack into my speakers I very seldom use the flip up. I like the internal navigation though. With the headphone jack I have the navigation audio in one ear. I have tried several head sets to find a set that would block wind noise but not surrounding noises.

Puzzled: Nice ride! I like the idea/application of the radio/gps. Those are also some nice rides in the thumbnails.

I dont see a big deal with the dvd. I think It would be nice and can have some usability just as puzzled has shown. Besides its a HD, with most people putting form over function with add on's anyway. I say if thats what you want go for it!
