Default Gloss black powdercoat on stock Ultra wheels?

Anyone done this? I'm curious how it would look.

Actually, I'm getting ready to do that very thing as soon as Santa arrives... I'll post pics as soon as they're done.

Unless somebody who has done this already would like to post pics?

I've got the winter blues here and feel the need to start tearing things down again. I'm planning on pulling my inner fairing again to have it re-painted, thinking about pulling the wheels for powdercoat at the same time. Really want to see how it would look.

Same here. Tearing mine down for paint and a bunch of powder coating.

You guys up north have it good...I'd have to pull my bike off the road and stop riding every day this winter if I was going to do any serious mods. I'm sooo jealous ;-)

My buddy did it on one of the salvaged bikes he rebuilt. He paid about 100 bucks to have them done.

Aw come on Stro...I'm serious. I'm going to have to wait until rainy season before I do any more big mods!
