I think that looks very nice, wonder how stock Street Glide Wheels would look totally powdercoated?
Pics Anyone?

I went a slightly different route. Painted the spokes with an aircraft emron and polished the hubs and outer lip. Not as hard as powdercoat but emron is a polyeurathane with some kinda hardener that makes it pretty strong. Losts easier to keep clean now. Just have to do a little polishing on the hub and lip occasionally. Picture shows the hub almost completely polished. The lip came out pretty shiny also.

Stro,

We didn't get any hurricanes this season...they call it the Miracle Coast for good reason. Last big ones were Dennis in 05 and Ivan in 04. Prior to that it had been about 10 years since the previous big one.

LOL! I was thinking the EXACT same thing! I like the look of the wheel totally blacked out, but I also like the emron/polished look, too. I'm definately going to powder coat mine all black, though. Looks good and will be way easier to clean.

Thanks for the pics!

Looks nice! If I did it I would have also left the in between accents unpainted,. The center hub is real nice! Ever think about polishing the outer lip to look the same way, And then use a clear powder coat over the entire wheel? Nice pic's!

I like the whole wheel blacked out with wide whitewalls. Looks sweet!

Looks nice. Here in CA Imron is illegale to use anymore. I just bought a set of chrome 9 spokes, it was between pc'ing the stock wheels and going chrome. I would have had the stockers machined to get the ribs off then pc, imho that would look nice. Maybe next time.
