For true dual PERFORMANCE.. Rinehearts...
I put a set of Bassani's with Hooker Muffs on my brothers bike (Against my advice).... he lost torque and hp... Bassani's have a pulse thief in the rearpipe, looks like a pretzel bend... not good for performance...

Designing an exhaust system with equal length primary tubes requires making the rear pipe with bends if the exhaust is exiting the rear of a Harley, wouldn't you agree?
As long as its a radis bend, I find it hard to believe that the pressure wave traveling at approx the speed of sound and the gas flow traveling at approx 350 ft/sec will mind, Especially if the equal length header pipes contribute to the scavaging effect.
Now add stepped equal length header pipes and ceramic coating (To hold the heat in---hotter gases travel faster than cooler gases) Bassani did a pretty good job in designing the exhaust system using a pretzel bend
But hey, thats my opinion and thats the reason I use Bassani.
BTW.........What would you call a Forumal 1 exhaust pipe? A bag of pretzels[8D]
