The fairing mirrors seem to be not so expensive... Easy to install? lol Wouldn't want them to fall off!

OR... You could go this way.. Excellent rear vision and looks almost stock.. Arlen Ness rad lll's cut down and mounted on the fairing..

put on the split vision mirrors,great coverage and clear and easy to see

I had put the split vision mirrors on my Fatboy, and they were pretty good during the day, but thought they were a little confusing for night time driving.

Thanks you guys I about did my self in with those stock mirrors on my new 08' SG. You guys made up my mind from beginning--going to split vision--for sure. Woody Safety FIRST!!!!!!

Just make sure you install them correctly, I test drove a used 2008 Anniversary Ultra last summer just like yours with the mirrors installed too low and could not be adjusted correctly! The guy traded it in with both sets of mirrors installed, the dealer took off the originals. The bike was nice but the test drive really sucked without working mirrors!

I run both, If you want a pic I can get it in the AM its 20 degrees in the garage right now...

I use the fairing mounted ones as blind spot mirrors, and they work well.

I also have some sort of HD mirrors that have longer stems on them and are a little convexed.

I drive trucks and buses regularly so I am used to having multiple mirrors to use

hay Neggy you got it! I dont like haveing to swing the head all arround in busy traffic. with the two mirrors I can see behind and beside and still be lookin ahead. and when your rollin 20K a year your ridein alot of unfamilur roads so you want a GREAT set of mirrors, so whatever it takes!!
