Default Anyone have a head-on picture of a 21" wheel?

Hey guys,

This may be a stupid request, but I just want to see how skinny a 21" aftermarket wheels/tire is actually going to look (compared to my stock wheels) while looking at the bike from the front. I don't want the front wheel to look too skinny for the fender!

So... If any of you might have a picture of your aftermarket wheels, I'd greatly appreciate you sharing...

Also, please feel free to advise if this concern is illegitimate. Its a bit hard to see on any wheel websites as they are all showing profile pictures of the wheels.

By the way, just what is the reduction in width (in inches) when you go from a 16 inch front wheel to a 21? I know the 18" wheels are only 1/4 inch wider than the 21"s (give or take)...

Thanks!

Thanks man! From the appearance, it certainly doesn't look "skinny"... Very nice looking wheel mslater741!

does anyone think a 21x3 would show up thinner than a 21x3.5 with the same 120/70/21 tire

Well I've seen the same tire size mounted on both the 3" and the same for the 3.5". I'm liking the 3" because it's a little norrower but not like the 2" or is it a 2.5 ".

Sad to say in my case the fender didn't work because I lowered it by cutting off the brackets and using the fender mounts for the fat boy, so tomorrow I'm off to see a guy who welds and hopefully he can make me some new brakets and I'll go and powdercoat them.

It's either that or a new fender, paint and stripping. Bummer.

With my front fender I cut off the mounting tabs or brackets when I lowered the front fender, so now it rubs big time on the new 21" tire. So with out buying and doing a new fender does anyone have any idea's on getting the front fender to work? I've looked at the Battisinis front fender adapter, but it's $350. and I wonder how it goes on, does it go on the outside of the fender to mount? Thanks
