Default Comments on a Prospective Deal

I have the following deal on the table on an 09 Ultra Classic, Vivid Black, with ABS and Security. I am trading my 04 RK Standard. The deal is my bike and $10.056 OTD. That includes Freight, any Documentation Fees and 6.75% Sales Tax. This sounds decent to me but I'm open to any comments or suggestions. I am planning to see the bike and the dealer later this weekend.

That sounds like a decent deal.

You might do a little better if you were able to sell your RK yourself. You might try Craiglist or E-bay just to see what happens if you want to screw with it.

According to NADA, low retail on your 04 RK is 11,275 which brings your purchase of the Ultra Classiv to 21,275.00. The price seems about right.
Good luck on your new purchase

I sold my old bike on eBay in 36 hours!! Had to meet they buyer half way between his house and mine to deliver it. But I figured what the hell, I didn't have anything better to do anyway.

I traded my '05 Road King Classic with 35,000 miles on it for about the same deal. Didn't want to mess with trying to sell it myself. How many miles on your '04? When I traded mine in the dealer looked it over, liked it, said it was really clean, lots of add-ons, popular color (Black Cherry) but the only problem he saw with it was that I rode it! Go figure. No garage trophy for me!

Sounds decent. One advantage of trading is lower sales tax.

Sounds like a fair deal. Ask the dealer if he'll waive freight and/or prep. I bought my bike from Chicago HD, which doesn't charge these items.
