I have a 09 rck turquoise/white. I love my bike. I was looking both bikes (rk and rkc) for almost 2 month. All I have read in this post is true, Probably the RK is better because of the hard bags and the tubeless but I prefer the retro look. In other hand I have no issues at all with rain and leather bags, never get wet inside. If you wash your bike you can remove bags in a minute. I have installed intertia locks and now I can lock them. WW tires are easy to clean with mr clean magic rubber (its really magic, you can clean the WW in 2 minutes). Laced wheels are a pain in the *** when you have to clean them but ITS A HARLEY, If you want to buy an easy cleaning bike with no problems at all buy a goldwing. Mi choice is RKC and no regrets at all. GREAT BIKE! and probably the most beutifull nowadays HD, riding this bike is great but I also enjoy cleaning it the secret is cold beer goood music and magic eraser for the WW

I like the RK because it has hard bags.

+1 for Solitario's comment about cleaning his bike.
I, too enjoy cleaning it, as long as I have good tunes & a cold drink.

My husband just bought spoke wheels for his Ultra. We both love the "old school" look.

Kinda like "would you like paper or plastic?"

Boils down to presonal preference.

I meant to ask you, what model # bars are those on your RoadKing?
