Default Took her out yesterday...

...and it's way too f*ckin' COLD for me! Had on jeans, long underwear on underneath, 3 layers of shirts, lined leather gloves & my lined leather jacket. My body was fine, just too much windchill for the face. Went ridin' for an hour & took me three-times as long to thaw-out once I got home. Must be getting' old! See ya in March...

Hey Cloud
I'm from Revere, MA. I also rode yesterday. Rode to work and back, about 45 miles each way. Man, the morning was cold, about 33 degrees and the ride home was not much warmer. I can't take too much more of this either. I'm not 18 anymore..

Winter really sucks!!!

Been riding to work at about 13 degrees when I leave the house,ya need heated gloves, lined chaps, lined jeans, heavy jacket and a full face helmet, told the wife I NEEDED two bikes because I ride them all the time, even in winter,I'm thinking Vrod VRSCD so I ride in about any weather, summer is right around the corner.Trying to convince her I really need three is going to be tough.

It seems the older I get, the more I find myself venturing out into even colder weather. I think that's because you know what to expect and learn to adapt in ways to beat the cold. That plus the bike sitting in the garage becons me too. I'll ride through Winter as the temps and road conditions allow (salt and ice free). I haven't been out below freezing but have been out below 40F and my next "winter" purchase will be heated grip covers. (no heated clothes for me)..

Did I mention that bike sitting in the garage becons me?
